I can't see why it would be any different, it is the same lume material. My 000 is a torch when coming inside from sunlight. Older Subs with trit dials will hardly glow at all, so if you want lume you need a K series or newer.
With 24/25 they switched to Luminova with E-series I believe. 243 with K-series.
Edit: if you like 24 with polished bezel you have to find A-C

I saw the PAM 389 today. The rubber strap was awesome too. I think I'm in love.
I finally understand Panerai.

With used 372 prices approaching $7K, if you want to get one PAM and then be done with the brand forever, that's the way to go.
