I have always been happy with my 000, and it does a great job, for a simple hand cranker.

I saw this today and said WOW

I've been very happy with mine. Seems very accurate, very smooth winding, and the PR is about 80 hours.

The 000 is a fantastic watch.

I will have yours one day, so please take good care of it Chris.

Thanks in advance! ;)

I actually really like the spartan styling on the in-house PAM movements.

(I'm posting these from imgur mobile, so sorry if they're really tiny. Not sure if this is the appropriate way).

I really like it Matt, that is the one.
It seems like it is hidden under a wall of metal :)

You can see some poor factory work though in the screw in the last pic. Screwdriver left a pretty significant defect in the screw.

That's because the factory worker didn't use TWO screwdrivers!

You do not need a parachute to skydive. You only need a parachute to skydive twice.

Like Master Wu, I, too am a fan of the minimalist finishing of Panerai's in-house movements and their large backplates. Somehow, it seems appropriate for the brand.

Regards,
Adam

PS - Chris, check out the pics of the P.3001 in Zack's 422 (in the sales forum); it adds a lumed 3-day PR indicator to the mix.
