Post by tazman64 » Thu Jul 11, 2013 10:30 am

What are your guy's thought on the PAM 212 1950 flyback, Im looking at one that is in flawless condition, Its from 2011, NO BOX OR PAPERS?? Its at a ad and they will give a 15 month warranty. If any of you have any thoughts on the watch and what I should pay? any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I hope you're getting a good price on it.
Back in 09 a few AD's were giving them away for 6-6500 BNIB.
It's just one of those models that doesn't hold value as well as others.

Thanks guy's, I think im going to pass on this one. I saw the one that had been DLC coated posted here and realy liked the look. So I started looking for one that I could have DLC coated. I found one in mint condition for $7,500(which I thought was too high) but it sold in less than a week, this one with out box and papers is $6,250
Which I thought was a good deal until I here they were selling new for 6-6.5k. Thanks again

It's not necessarily a bad price but it'd have to be mint with B&P etc.
I didn't mean to turn you off on that Pam just wanted to give you a point of reference

You didn't turn me off of it, but re-sale value is a major factor.so by it not having box and papers was a big minus, the plus was it was flawless and had a 15 month warranty. Thanks for your help.

In all honesty, if you are going to DLC it resale should be a nonfactor in your decision.

That was a big part of my decision also, It never pay's to mod a highend watch. But damn those pics of the one that got DLC coated looked awesome.

^ what he said.

Also if you are concerned at all about resale the lack of B&P will kill the value retention
