Excellent. Love the 104. Great pick up and enjoy that baby.

And I must say, Gordo has a collection of great shirts to go with his watches and shoes.
cheers,

Keith

I picked up a new GSD Olivio that I'm not feeling (tad too long). Will hit you up to see if you want it. I feel like I got a good price on it.
Congrats, James!!! Well worth the sell-off.

Master Wu's suggestion would look spectacular. I've been thinking about GSD green or an olive green for my 048.

Same look, though smaller at 40mm:

Thanks, Gents.

It was pretty surreal, blowing up the watch-box like that, hoping that the piece would still be there when I got everything moved out. Nice to have to top-cover from Gordo on this one, also. Having someone you trust and who knows watches to have a detailed look at the piece before actually putting cash on the table is pretty huge.

And I have definitely not yet indicated to the Frau the implicit expectations regarding strap purchases , Keith. At this point, that would be a bridge too far. I will introduce that particular subject incrementally, one strap at a time.

And now the waiting-game starts ... Gordo not getting back to Ottawa until Monday ... :crybaby:

Merde.

James

And totally agree, Nick. Not the norm for a 104 but it carries it off beautifully.

Do it, Nick. I was out of PAMs for sometime, as the 024 experience was a bit of a bummer. Being able to try out Gordo's 104 sure clinched it, for me.

And working with Drew on some straps now. Along with the Riva and the rubber, going to have a nice little collection to change the look and feel of the 104.

The strap options are freaking endless. Wow.

Give a look at Simona and Wotoncraft. Yeah, straps won't be nearly as expensive as boots........

Truth. But quantity has a quality all its own (to paraphrase Mao).

Wow. This could get expensive.

Congrats James, that 104 looks right at home on your wrist!
I think the longer markers on the 104 are what make the Riva rock so hard on it.
That said, looking forward to the coming strap madness...
Cheers!

Counting down the hours until Gordo gets home from Montreal and I can drop by to p/u the PAM.

Very happy ...
