312
Well its been a week and a 1/2 since the 312 arrived and I have to say its impressed me as much or more than any other watch that has come and gone. As per the last thread it was I was really hunting the Sea Dweller but the size and the Rollie branding really worked against it in my view and the dark horse bolted in. not saying I wont go there one day but this one is the size is perfect for me and the sandwhich dial is just a pleasure to look at as it gives the dial a deapth that you seldome see.
All in all could not have been happier, I took it off last night for the first time and straped on the Kobold AD but before I left the house this morning somhow she had made her way back onto the wrist. I even sat down this afternoon and went through all my cigar boxes and other hiding places looking for 24mm straps as the quick change feature is just sunch a pleasure to use.
Pitty I have never been much for leather straps, I have plenty of rubber and about 6 Ted Su Not Kevlar's so it looks like I have some work to do getting a collection going. I do have a Drew canvas and Saddleback on the weay and a Diobolic in Black buit does anyone know someone who works in Croc or Gator?

Congrats Jamie, I am glad you are enjoying it. Peter is the man for gator straps.

Congrats, Jamie! Love the case on the 312. Looks great on your wrist. Enjoy!
Re: 312
Nice one Jamie.
Just be careful if buying croc or gator products from overseas, as Australian customs can give you a hard time. I have heard of people having straps (and even whole watches attached to a croc strap!) stuck in customs or returned to sender.
Can I import crocodile or alligator products into Australia?
A CITES import permit is required to import crocodile and alligator products into Australia. This permit is issued by the Department of the Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts.
Exemption
Up to four (4) non-live specimens per person can be imported in accompanied baggage for personal use without the requirement for a CITES import permit.
