PAM 176 is here

Post by koda240 » Thu May 09, 2013 4:24 pm

I was lucky enough to get the PAM 176 a bit earlier than expected. Really excited about having a light PAM that would work well on a nato. Love the finish of the Ti and the sandwich dial is awesome. No strap change yet but will get on it. Im actually kind of liking the gator on it which shocks me. More pics when i get through this deadline.

 Congrats! As the saying goes, Base is Ace! I know you dig NATOs, but I would recommend some canvas as well.

Canvas would be slick. Just gotta try and get Drew to make one some day. I think I'm at the bottom of the list.

Congrats. Love the 176. The TI looks great and wears very nice.
I wore my 177 on canvas a lot.

Enjoy it.

Congratulations.

Liking the gator is just the start; it may be a while until you get around to a nato.

The gator looks great. No comment on Panerai on NATOs.

I obviously have missed something in the past. Do you like or not like Natos on PAMs?

Normally I would say I agree, but on a base titanium I think it might look pretty slick and actually be comfortable. We'll see. My strap is on order to fingers crossed.

Maybe I could order one of those infamous Drew Canvas???? Eh? No... Damn.

NATOs are for Rolex Subs and Seikos. A Panerai belongs on leather or rubber(or Drew canvas).

That's pretty fair but I'd extend NATOs to any military watch. Plus I've worn my Speedy on one plenty of times.

I've always thought thin watches look best on NATO straps.

Yep, Speedies look great on them.
