Pam 449
Re: Pam 449
Love it...The 449 has the blue hands--other than that is it the same as the 425?
How is that Jay on the wrist at 47MM?

Re: Pam 449
Thanks guys. Unlike the 425, the 449 doesn't have the Pig on the dial, has blue hands, a plexi crystal, and SLC printed on the rehaut at 12. It is also limited to 750.
It is a large one, but it wears well. I love wearing it, as opposed to the 372 which I couldn't wear due to the lug length. The shorter wire lugs make a big difference.

I'm not sure I will ever understand those watches.

Re: Pam 449
Extremely cool.
Re: Pam 449
Lot's of love here, though I sense it is false. Cool watch; so is Drew's, but the pictures aren't selling me on a Rad. Just when I thought a Rad would be a neat p/u. Neither look like they sit well on the wrist, or work for us, who are wrist girth challenged.

This is an homage to a Pamerai from the 30's, a prototype dial of which only 2 are known to exist.justsellbrgs wrote:I'm not sure I will ever understand those watches.

If I didn't think it was cool, I just would have told Jay how much I like the strap.
Re: Pam 449
These 47mm Rads are the perfect size. It actually works just as well on Jay's thin wrist as it does on my less than thin wrist.lilhoody wrote:Lot's of love here, though I sense it is false. Re: Pam 449
I thought "nice strap" was reserved for ugly watches (like the watch in the thread above this one), not awesome watches that don't work for a particular wrist size or wrist type. The Puck was very much that way for me, cool as hell (not in the 449 league mind you), but would sit right on my wrist.mattcantwin wrote:lilhoody wrote:...though I sense it is false.

Re: Pam 449
While I have always owned Luminor cases I like the look of the Rad until I went to trade for one. I was shocked at how small it felt. Not just size but the lack of thicker lugs didn't help. But, seeing a 47mm I bet it would be awesome. I like the vintage look of yours. I would love to have that DLC PAM that drew has on that tan strap. Even though its not 47...it's bad ass.
Re: Pam 449
That is accurate. I normally wouldn't choose a 47mm watch over a 45, but with the Rads the 47 just works better on most people.koda240 wrote:While I have always owned Luminor cases I like the look of the Rad until I went to trade for one. Wow, the 449, 64c, and a DLC 390. Three of the best of the brand. Late congrats on you 449. The La Bomba is still my favorite of the bunch. Ever tried the 243?
