Got excited for a minute, now I'm disappointed

Post by logan2z » Fri Nov 04, 2016 4:30 pm

Saw that Panerai just announced the PAM00718, a Radiomir with California dial that looks just like the PAM249 - complete with blue hands. But it turns out it's a 42mm model available in white gold only. Who wants a white gold Panerai?! :crybaby: MSRP $20K. Looks pretty though...

It's too bad people don't mod Panerai like turtles. I would take those hands and put them on another Pam

Why they won't just do a 372 in 44mm is beyond me. They've done every other possible iteration of a Panerai watch, but not that one.

Or 422, 305, 389, + a couple of models in 44 with manual wind and 9 with subseconds ala 127

I Like it. Gold will give it the weight of a 44 mm.

My only beef is the gap with the crown and case. Should screw down to within a paper thickness spacing

Of course that may be a test piece or not screwed down all the way
