Omega PO--Not Working

Post by jimyritz » Wed Jan 06, 2010 6:21 am

Went to grab the PO this morning before heading out the door and noticed it had stopped.

No big deal, just re-set the time and date and off we go...Nope, could not get the second hand to budge...maybe frozen? :crybaby:

Watch is 5 months old and under warranty--purchased from an AD..

Anyone have this happen?

Just wondering, should I go back to where I purchased it or go directly to an
authorized Omega service center..

Appreciate your comments..

Thanks
Mike

Nothing to be ashamed of in this economy. Once things start to recover it'll get back on it's feet.

errr.

I mean, sorry to hear that.

I'd start at the AD and see what they can do first, especially if it's only 5 months old. After all, that is one of the big benefits of purchasing at an AD in the first place.

My PO was sitting on my watch box...I spoke to the AD and he said he would take care
of it...He is going to send me a shipping label and then I will send it back to him.

What can you do....Sh*t happens...

Good news on the watch servicing front...Sent my PO to the Omega LA Service center
3 weeks ago for warranty service and it is now ready. The AD will be sending it out to me today...

Not bad--a little under a month...

Thanks Brad--It's been an excellent Omega day...

Not only is the PO back from the service center, but the new 3573.50 Speedmaster
arrived from Omega and will have both the PO and Speedy on Monday..

Thanks Guys...

Omega didn't actually say what was the matter..
They did a partial maintenance--relubed the movement
and replaced a gear...

Does that make sense????
