Saw that Omega dropped two interesting models with a cool movement last night. Chronograph with a mechanical chime that has a different sound for minutes and seconds. Pricing is nuts but pretty cool showcase for what they can do.

Re: Omega Speedmaster Chime & 1932 Chrono Chime
I read somewhere that Swatch “assigns” special complications to different houses under their umbrella. For example perpetual calendar goes to Blancpain or repeaters go to Breguet. Which is why, even though Omega is capable, this is a surprise release.
An interesting move signaling either 1) Omega flexing or 2) Omega wants to move more upstream
Either way I like these.

Omega is the Swatch brand with the best chance of going after Rolex. Big swings like this will definitely help the market position of their Speedy's, Seamasters, etc... especially alongside all of the METAS movements being put in all of their new watches.rockmastermike wrote: ↑Wed Oct 26, 2022 5:16 amI read somewhere that Swatch “assigns” special complications to different houses under their umbrella. Ok…that’s cool. The chime in the vid is very very cool.

Oh man, you beat me to it Nick.
Honestly are ridiculously nice to be honest. I actually just love to
look at pictures of watches like this. Because I know I will pronpbably
never even see one in person. But that’s o.k. these pictures, along
with information is just fine with me.
Thanks so very very much for posting !!!
