Hi, wonder why quartz bond on sword hands are more desirable than skeleton hands? Are they in limited production?

hmmm I actually like skeleton hands.. I've had a few 2254's and I think it's a great piece (although not at the current ridiculous selling prices) but I'm sooo tired of sword hands.. I have an SmpC right now and although it's not a forum favorite by any means, it's pretty bad ass in every respect - including the skeleton hands. Just my two cents, tho - YMMV

The newer ones are definitely nice regardless of hands. I think they'd be nicer with sword hands though. Outside of a mil spec Sub, the Omega Smp is the only sword hand that I could see myself owning.

I'll add a WatchCo SM300 to that list. And an Ares. :shifty:

Good call on the watchco. I can’t shake the fact that you could get one for $1200 not too long ago.

Same here. I bought one for $1800 from the seller years ago. When I see them for $3500+ I just can’t believe it. It did not seem that it was worth that much to me. But yes I love the look.

Agree with the board. I will never own a skeleton hand watch. It blows the whole thing for me. However I LOVE the watchco SM300 and someday I will get one. I can't see paying $3000+ for one though. Maybe the bottom will fall out after 2020 when the recession hits.
