I've always loved the 2254/2264. I've passed up a couple of 2264s unfortunately. I remember being about to get brand new 2254s online for $1.6k when they were still available. I'm seriously kicking myself now for not following through.

Nice. Mine runs pretty well, too. +0.04sec/day. These are still great deals. My favorite “beater” for sure.

Yeah. There are times when I’m about this far away /\ from just bailing out on mechanical watches.
If you put a large switch in some cave somewhere, with a sign on it saying 'End-of-the-World Switch. PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH', the paint wouldn't even have time to dry.
