2264 Running Slow

Post by mattcantwin » Sun Feb 10, 2019 1:39 pm

I haven't been paying close attention, but it looks like my 2264 is losing one second...

a month.

Way to go, Omega.

If you believe the doctors, nothing is wholesome; if you believe the theologians, nothing is innocent; if you believe the military, nothing is safe.

I've always loved the 2254/2264. I've passed up a couple of 2264s unfortunately. I remember being about to get brand new 2254s online for $1.6k when they were still available. I'm seriously kicking myself now for not following through.

I’d love a perfect/complete one of these.

Nice. Mine runs pretty well, too. +0.04sec/day. These are still great deals. My favorite “beater” for sure.

Yeah. There are times when I’m about this far away /\ from just bailing out on mechanical watches.
Steal a man’s fish and you’ll eat for a day. Teach him how to fish and he’ll have another you can steal tomorrow.
