Omega Planet Ocean 2201.51 D movement

Post by ChuckW » Fri Sep 28, 2018 10:26 am

Received this last night, but it's a rather snug fit. Called the Atlanta Omega Boutique and they're ordering a full link and a half link for me.

You should go ahead an order the adjustable clasp, best mod I've made to my PO.

I'm considering that option, but the seller sold it as able to fit an 8" wrist (mine is 7.75"). I emailed him and he's willing to go half toward getting enough links, which I think is fair. The adjustable clasp rig would be more money to fit the older bracelet, plus it's 20mm, so no taper. I've considered ordering the parts needed to fit the adjustable clasp to my Speedypro and SMPs, but with half links, fitment doesn't seem to be an issue.

Great pick up. One of Omega’s best.

Nice

That’s one I would trade up for with my 2254.

Truly classic watch and beautiful dial.
