I like the middle one. A nice alternative to the hard-to-find Mitsukoshi dialled Speedmasters.

I love Speedmasters, but Omega is really watering down its best watch.

Too bad for those Gemini IV and Apollo XI 35th owners. Makes me wonder about sinking money into another Speedmaster LE.

Didn't you just reserve the Ultraman?

True. I'd buy this set if I were a baller as I love all of them. The NASA inspired watches still have the best case backs. As much as I love the dials, I'd cringe slightly knowing it was an Olympics watch, assuming the case back has that theme.

Omega did a really great job on some of these (not hard to do when you rehash an already desirable model). They usually shit the bed with their Olympic watches.

Exactly. The Olympic models are usually gimmicky, but the blue dial and white dial ones look great.

Gemini 4:

Apollo 11 (has the red text unlike the Mitzukoshi):

The current Speedy LE bubble is just ridiculous.

I don't really get all the LE's from Omega either. I guess they must be money-makers, but how many variations on a Speedmaster can one person have?

While these are great, I agree. Don’t really like the direction Omega is going these days.

I think Omega is smart to increase the hype leading into next year's 50th moonwalk anniversary... I'm sure they are anticipating a new generation of worldwide Speedy fans who won't necessarily want the 'original' moonwatch... these are fashion statements and will sell out in no time... Omega knows how to milk a good thing

Yowza, these are nice !!! Love how Omega made a set here, and give you the
chance to enjoy multiple watches instead of one ! ..Honestly am liking all of
them, and the green, and red bezel variations are something different too.

Thanks a lot for the look !!! :salute:

I see these are starting to show up NIB for around $8.5K. The blue one is nice!

Have to be honest - I like the original moon watch better than any of those in the first pic...
