Thanks bud. Same diameter, but I believe this is a good bit thinner.Marjak wrote:Congrats, Ed! Is this the same case as the 43.5 GMT model?
Got it, thx Ed!hoppyjr wrote: ↑Fri Jan 05, 2018 9:54 pmThanks bud. Same diameter, but I believe this is a good bit thinner.Marjak wrote:Congrats, Ed! Is this the same case as the 43.5 GMT model?
I tried on the Goodplanet GMT when it was first released and loved it, but I don’t need (or want) the GMT function. This is the answer.
Nice! Do you know the model number?hoppyjr wrote:After picking it up from the post office, I stopped by the Omega Boutique for bracelet sizing. While there I tried on the same watch with the blue dial.
Good news; the new blue is very similar to the blue used in the titanium 8500, but Omega finally uses a color matched date wheel.
The one I tried on had a very cool strap on deployant clasp. It’s a fully waterproof strap, using a rubber strap base and having real alligator on the exterior. The bottom, sides, and pin holes are rubber, which should provide for a long service life. I really liked it. A lot.
Some quick photos.
That’s such a great looking blue! I want both. :-)mtb2104 wrote:Congrats!

Knowing Omega, it’s probably 312.5824.5274.1293.3464.124.ItnStln wrote:Nice! Do you know the model number?hoppyjr wrote:After picking it up from the post office, I stopped by the Omega Boutique for bracelet sizing. While there I tried on the same watch with the blue dial.
