New Speedmaster
I'm sure this will go over like a fart in church for Speedy purists, but I kind of love this.

I like it. A mixed colored version in what looks like the 44.25mm case.
only accurate watches are interesting

I just read the whole thing. Nice. New Cal 9900, lower crystal height, larger subdials. Subtle improvements. But will the changes sans colors carry over to the standard and other models?

I would think they would at least carry over to all Co-ax versions?marchone wrote:I just read the whole thing. Nice. New Cal 9900, lower crystal height, larger subdials. Subtle improvements. But will the changes sans colors carry over to the standard and other models?

I like new speedies and the size is right. Speedy pro is the smallest 42 ever
Re: New Speedmaster
I kind of like it....wonder about the 44.25MM case....

not bad. not bad at all....it doesn't have a "sudden impact" on me, but I wouldn't kick it out of bed, either.

Re: New Speedmaster
I like it.
I think Omega is taking a cue from AP and Hublot and their sport watches lines... doing lots of colorful versions. Nothing wrong with that in my opinion... I just hope they keep around their classic models too.
Still would love to grab a DSOTM or Apollo 11 45th anniversary.

I like the color combo, but at nearly $7800 I'm not sure it's worth the premium over the Moonwatch.

I kind of like it too... would prefer a reversed colour scheme on the hands though.

Re: New Speedmaster
Not a fan or hater of it. I do like how they are making them thinner. Would like to see that carry over to more of their offerings

Re: New Speedmaster
Where? Used? The lowest I've seen the plain Jane base model at Jomashop was about $5200.

I still prefer the style and size of the standard professional, but this looks nice.

Love the look.
Hate the size (would be fine at 42mm) and the price (nearly $8k -- WTF?).

It's expensive, but that machined ceramic case is special. Few manufacturers are doing that.hoppes-no9 wrote:Love the look.
