Love this (except the engraving on the case side, if it had it).
 No engraving on the case. Just a standard 2231.
Some of them have "Seamaster" and "Titanium" engraved on the side of the case.

^^^ Did not know that. Mine is from quite a few years ago (15?). Gift from my wife, so never going on sale (not that I ever sell anything anyways).

I think it's a cool piece---I've always liked the bracelet

I think NOMADZ had one of these once and I really liked it.

Tried a 2254. Loved the look but was not a fan of the small crown or the difficulty of using the bezel. Don't like the Bracelet on the bond as it really looks dated. If they came out with an updated SMPC with a larger crown and the updated 2254/speed master style bracelet I might reconsider.

Had this watch before I trade it away for a explorer 2. Love the case and its case design and thickness blend in well with any strap.

I'm a big fan. Only things I'd change would be to bin the HEV and have non-skeleton hands.

Thought about this one before I bought its SS counterpart. Truth is, the bezel on the 2255 really isn't that shiny that it's obnoxious and to make a watch that's already light even lighter with Ti would IMO make it feel cheap to me.

Another reason I love the Pelagos is because it's just as heavy as most SS watches you handle.

I really like the non-AC version with the gold bezel. It's a nice alternative to the Rolex YM.

My favorite version of the SMP is the black Ti sword hand.
I've only seems a few pop up, and this one just popped up and sold in a matter of minutes.
I was mad about it, but then I was thinking I'd have to sell my original 2254 or Doxa to get it.

I'm currently on the hunt for the blue dial version of this Ti SMP 2232.80 on a speedy style bracelet. There's one out there for just under $1700, but the bezel looks a little rough and the "watchmaker refinishing" isn't too impressive.

Yeah, and the seller has it listed as a 2231.80 incorrectly, which has a white boarder around the date window. I prefer the cleaner dial 2232.80 without the date window outline.

Hmm, never knew there was a dial difference. Although I'm pretty sure mine is a 2231 and it has no date window outline. My wife bought it new.

No love for the SMPc?

Just came back from trying on an SMPC at a dealer, I'm disappointed, highly disappointed.

It didn't do anything for me, looked smaller than I expected and whilst nice the dial isn't as inky as I've seen on pictures and I didn't like the bezel.

Tried a Pelagos, oh my!!

I'm shy after my last attempt to take pics.
