I want that astronaut display... Badly. Although I'd need to source another watch to make it look the same. The Cernan "last man on the moon" (Apollo X and XVII) will go nicely with my Apollo patch display. :mrgreen:

Never heard of that film, but it's right in my wheelhouse. Thanks :thumbsup:

It saddens me somewhat that the current world view of the US is somewhat negative, but what the US/NASA did will alway be utterly astonishing, groundbreaking, brave, heroic, and humbling. Even as a Brit, I grew up totally captivated by the Shuttle missions; and the past endeavours of NASA will always leave me in awe. They were brave men & women.

One regret was never travelling to the US to see a shuttle launch :banghead:

Was an awesome event... full on Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Gene Wilder version...) kinda day.
