So my dad is a big coin collector (mainly old gold US coins).
Him and I go to coin shows as it's his hobby, I like the father-son bonding time, and I buy some gold and silver bullion for the investment sometime.
Well, I see a simple Tag and this lovely full size SMP in a case, next to some coins. Well I struck a deal for the SMP, and my dad snagged the Tag! Haha
Bought it Sunday, haven't been able to take it off my wrist. I had a Co-Axial GMT blue wave SMP, but it was too perfect, ended up flipping it. This one is worn, quartz, and much thinner than the auto brother.
Serial puts it about 2011-2012. I love the applied indecies and symbol. Really pops out of the dial.
Here is the duo back together, dad's Tag and my Bond SMP
I ordered a red rubber, but so far the bracelet is perfect.

Nice! I had the older Bond auto for a short period. Contemplated the quartz version a few times since then. Still think about it from time to time.

The SMP (of any flavor) could really be the "one" watch.
Congrats on a great pick up - for you and your pops

I have owned the auto version of this watch, it is a great watch. Congrats and soak up all that Dad/son time.
