Is this a good deal

Post by Henryj » Fri Aug 05, 2016 4:01 am

Stopped in at an Omega AD today. Sales critter showed me a new moon watch Speedy. Acrylic crystal and so on. It came with a big honking outer box, inside that was a black fabric covered box about a foot wide, with two latch straps holding it shut. Inside that was a medallion, two extra fabric straps, a strap tool, and a bunch of paperwork. With a sale going, it worked out to right at $3700 US.

Is this an actual deal, or a sales person deal?

$250 seems like a good deal for a warranty

The best I've seen from the "big gun" sellers has been just under $4000, seems like a solid deal.

That box is omega at its finest. What a useless accessory.

Sounds like a great deal. Omega gets about $150 for each of those straps.

Couple of TRF sellers quoted $3500 for that special box edition with extra straps, tool, etc

Used ones seem to be in the $3000 range so a new one with warranty and no worry for a service like a used one mite not be a bad price.

This AD is 20% off across the board. I'm torn between a classic Speedy and a Skywalker.
