Hoppy Hooked Me Up
I've been pretty happy with my not-a-sub Omega SMP-C, but on occasion the fit gets a bit snug.
Certainly makes me miss the adjustable Rolex clasp.
Hoppy had a clasp he ordered from an Omega Boutique he was not going to use and was kind enough
to let me buy it from him. I sent Ed my bracelet (the Boutique required the clasp get installed in order to sell it).
Got it back the other day and it is just like the original clasp, just a bit longer.
I was going to take out a link, but opted to remove the two half-links on either side of the clasp.
The half links do not have the polished portions like the full links.
Nice range of adjustment now available.
Thanks again, Ed, for taking the time to have this done for me.

That does look great. Nice to know that Hop will do other favors and not just reach arounds.

Live fast, die young, and leave a good looking corpse.
Re: Hoppy Hooked Me Up
Glad to help.
For the other guys who are considering this; the Seattle boutique/service center said they were doing me a "one time" solid, because they know me but they will not do it again. They won't mix parts from different models.
I recall a boutique in PA will sell the clasp directly and it's easy to install. See the WUS thread for details.

Cool; that might actually be enough for a thin wetsuit: the dive extension tends to be too much.

If you'd open your eyes you'd have seen it wasn't me. Sure, I arranged it, but it was PatBecky and he was wearing these.....JP Chestnut wrote:All I got was a crappy handy. You need some hand lotion Hoppy.
Do you want a copy of the video? Adam has it now so it's probably sticky.
