Got a lovley vintage vibe, available at https://www.seb12100030.com
Great story re Phil the maker has made these following the original specs
etc, and vintage materials and the such.

Cheers also to Stu, the tobacco touch up to the hands on this speedy
makes me happy

Phil does great work. I picked up his reproduction of Wally Schirra's EVA strap for my Silver Snoopy Award:

The attention to detail is staggering, right down to the font used (Phil bought an old typewriter, similar to the ones in use at Houston, to get the correct look).

Here's a shot of the original on the man himself:

This strap seems especially fitting on the Snoop, not merely because of the color scheme, but also because, as with Wally's Speedy, the Speedy my watch commemorates never went to the moon. ;)

Adam

Tried one of the remakes that use to be sold on ebay gave it away to a member here. I ordered one of these thought I would give one of these a try one again as a switch up from the bracelet this should be better made since they use materials that are close to the originals.

First time I ever tried one of these was when another maker of these sold them on Ebay. And all ways wondered way it seemed not to fit right. I looped it through the lugs and set it up like I do NATO straps. See link the proper way to use this strap. I was doing it wrong and now doing it right like the astronauts did it fits right and more comfortable and more easy to adjust.
