Re: FUGLY PloProf
It's impossible to make that watch any uglier than it already is.
only accurate watches are interesting

Wayne, you obviously just "don't get it".marchone wrote:It's impossible to make that watch any uglier than it already is.
Said with tongue firmly in cheek.

Re: FUGLY PloProf
Don't get the blue color being used on this and the Pelagos. Bad choice imo.
Re: FUGLY PloProf
Love it, Tudor had some paint left over from Pelagos and sold it to Omega, yey!
I may be the only person who doesn't like PloProf but I wish Omega somehow evolved it. Maybe make something PloProf inspired but doesn't necessarily look exactly like it. I like the "crown guard" but that terrorist suicide self-explosion button doesn't work for me, especially in orange. Just bs-ing, slow morning, I'm gonna run now since I probably just shit all over some historical icon

No your right the ISSIS trigger can be left off that watch and it would look a lot better.Panerai7 wrote:Love it, Tudor had some paint left over from Pelagos and sold it to Omega, yey!

That blue is literally the "shit".

Re: FUGLY PloProf
I guess that's one of the 'new' ti versions with the glass back
Only good thing about those is maybe, just maybe, there'll be the current one sitting on a shelf unsold going for a song.

You guys are crazy, the PloProf is teh ish! The ISIS trigger is my favorite part.
(well, maybe not the model the OP posted).

Omega / Tudor / Rolex / Sinn / Doxa / Seiko
Re: FUGLY PloProf
The whole shape seems hard to deal with from a design perspective for me. That said, I did try one on at a GTG and was surprised that it was not uncomfortable.
Re: FUGLY PloProf
That whole ensemble looks great Joe, suicide bomber button and the rubber strap and minute hand all work great together being orange. Once you start taking it apart with a different color strap or bracelet and blue bezel/ white dial....not for me
By the way just noticed and never understood why some companies make the date read \ instead of / or | seems unnatural

Re: FUGLY PloProf
I agree with Joe. I saw one at my local AD and I tried it on and it was phenominal. Photos make it look huge but it's not as big as it looks. The bezel action is unlike I've ever felt and amazing. The anodized hands shimered in the light. It's 'so ugly/vulgar it's beautiful" is the way to describe this watch. I'd rock it in in a second (the one Joe posted). The one the OP posted is all wrong no doubt.

I'd wear this. I wouldn't buy it, but I'd wear it.Joeprez wrote:You guys are crazy, the PloProf is teh ish! The ISIS trigger is my favorite part.

Agree with you on the date comment for sure, unless the PP was meant for wearing on the right hand.Panerai7 wrote:That whole ensemble looks great Joe, suicide bomber button and the rubber strap and minute hand all work great together being orange. Re: FUGLY PloProf
This...in rec diving you wear your computer/watch on the right to monitor your ascent while dumping air from you BCD/Bp/W. Or to time your (wait for it....) safetystop while holding onto a jon line or anchor line. But with all this shit YMMV.matt.wu wrote:Agree with you on the date comment for sure, unless the PP was meant for wearing on the right hand.Panerai7 wrote:That whole ensemble looks great Joe, suicide bomber button and the rubber strap and minute hand all work great together being orange. I love the Ploprof and will eventually buy one, but that variant sucks ass. The classic model Joe pictured will always be a winner in my book.

I like it. Love the no-date and Master Co-Axial movement, but not the price.
