Pics of Omega 300 on Bond Nato

Post by RALAustin » Fri Sep 04, 2015 9:53 am

I managed to find and buy several different 21mm straps for this watch, and this is my favorite. Never really been a huge fan of multi-colored nato straps, but this works with the watch. Great material and long, but still a bit wonky with the fitting for me with the tail. The good news is that one of the keepers for the strap tail moves, but the bad news is I wish it was the other one. As it stands, I can get about a half inch back through the fixed keeper and movable keeper, but it is a little more cumbersome than a regular nato. Once on, it is great. **Added some pics of the moving keeper and how it sits when on the wrist.

I'm on the fence about an Omega NATO for my PO. Worth it?

It's very soft and comfortable looking
Almost looks like the webbing I got on order, it feels like it's double-ply unlike usual natos/zulus

Kinda like a pinto and a porsche will both get you to work but, well you know the rest.

The best way to answer that is Vincent Vega and the $5 dollar milkshake

Worth is subjective and all I know is it exponentially better than regular NATO's and I'm a fan of regular NATO's.
It is longer and I pretty sure a tad thcker (but not excessive) a tighter knit and much smoother to the touch and on the wrist. After wearing it, other NATO's feel like potato sack.

Tough question. I like it as a 21mm strap with branded hardware that fits the lugs on the Omega correctly. That tips the scale for me. If this watch was 20mm or 22mm, I would likely say no because my $15 natos look and wear great, and are more suited for the lake, pool etc... That said, it does certainly add a a nice touch and elevate the watch over a standard nato. Finally, I got it on the forums so did not pay full retail on it. That tips the scales for me as well.

The biggest issue for you would likely be the fit and length. It might be perfect with no need to thread back the strap given your wrist site, but that would mean the keepers might look too high.

Thanks, Rob. I'll see if the Boca boutique has one I can try on.

Dear RALAustin,
Absolutely gorgeous killer contrast with black grey Penta stripes Nato band gives the SM 300 M CoAx a warm inviting feeling yet the wearer remains mysterious , oozing with a simple but sophisticated classy sexy masculinity more than the bracelet could ever provide . All the ladies here have given their seal of approvel. They would rather date ' A James Bond Guy " than some dude with those shinning PCLs trying his best to appear like he came back to the future from the 50s......
