Has anyone tried this one yet?

I haven't been able to stop thinking about it.

:o

Thanks Matt. How does it wear? Top heavy?

Not sure if milgauss can last against this. I'll need to try at boutique

My only reservation is that over the years omega gets closer to broad arrow perfection. This is close but I wish for a 9300 manual version.

It's tall for 41mm, but it's a chrono after all and doesn't wear top-heavy.

I'm reading 16mm thick but I'm wondering if 2mm of that is the domed top crystal.

A silver broad arrow was my first Omega, it is what snagged me into this addictive hobby. Very nice indeed.

Since I got the SM300 I've been looking at Omega again, and this is one that I'd love to have.

Agreed, although at least the aged lume is pretty subtle.

I think Omega was hitting out of the park with these a couple of years ago, but they've kind of stalled lately (four alternative versions of the DSOTM? Really?). Will be interesting to see what they do at Basel this year.

The Speedy 57 is a great looking watch, no doubt.

Looks brilliant on the strap and in the 2nd photo doesn't look too tall either.

It's still half the price of the Rolex 4130.

Last LNIB '57 retro I saw was asking $6000 and sold.

I hope to see more offerings in the professional 42mm case but doubt it. The next big year for the professional will be the 50th of Apollo 11. I'd REALLY love to see them offer the snoopy lumed bezel for the professional case this year.

I think the new 9904 moon phase movement will discontinue the cal.1866 and 3576.50 speedmaster. It's a real shame, too, because the these 9XXX movements are just too large.

If they made a manual wind version of the 9300 and stuck it inside this '57 retro I'd own it already.
