I posted the link below back when the Tresor was introduced eight months ago. I'm glad to see more interest in it now. It's a beautiful watch.

What piqued my interest even more was the handwind Cal 8511. Particularly how thin it is as a Co-Axial even though handwinds are typically thinner than autos. Cased, the Tresor is 10.4mm which may be an indication Omega can get their sport watches to be thinner in the future. Auto 8500 thickness is a common complaint.

Dave, your comparison to the AT is a good one. If Omega had not installed a date wheel it would have differentiated it as a true dress/evening watch in their overall lineup. Now it sits upstream of the AT but with the same functions.

As it is, IMHO it's a banker's business watch in precious metal.
