Finally jumped on the Planet Ocean train, found a BNIB 2500 orange bezel with bracelet...hoping it's a D version movement :)

Yes, and no :)
It landed at the AD, he sent me pictures...but he's off work today.

So I'll close the deal tomorrow on line, I'm about a 1000 miles away from them.

Turns out to be a new "C" version movement...but Mr.Archer said no biggie. 2 yr. Mfg. Warranty.

Its a beauty! Mine is a 2500c and it runs like a top you should be gtg. the warranty is a nice safety just in case. Looking forward to the arrival pics.

My first two were "C" movement too. My first stopped after about 18 months, was serviced (updated) by Omega, and has run great since (about 30 months). These are fantastic watches regardless of version.

Thanks guys, looking forward to delivery.

As Hoppy said, I also have 2 x 2500 movements wit no problems. After Al changes the wheel during regular service, you won't have to worry again anyway. He said this is a "new" C version... And probably won't be effected by the co-axle issue anyway.

I would trust anything from Al @ Archer. His rep is flawless and he's an Omega service rep certified on Co-Ax so he knows his stuff. Congrats.

great score. I'd love a non-beat up PO 2500.

I know its not the best use of resources (i.e. watch fund) but I really like both colors. Wear yours in good health.
