Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Co-Axial LNIB $4600

Post by marchone » Thu May 22, 2014 4:20 am

If anyone here is interested it seems like prices are already coming down on the used market. I have no affiliation with the buyer.

I hear you. I still think I need to see one and how it balances on the wrist.

I really like the two register design, but didn't love the fit on the bracelet...maybe should try a strap ...damn you Wayne.

Ha! What really appeals to me most is the 60-minute chrono counter. The bicompass layout is the icing on the cake.

I went to the Omega Boutique today to see the new Speedy Co-Axial and specifically how thick it is. It is the same case size as the DSOM at 44.25mm x 15.79mm. It still fit under my shirt cuff and really didn't seem as high as its dimension would suggest. It seems the shape of the back crystal sort of melded into my wrist. IMHO it's a winner.

The Ti blue one needs to come on down in price. I'm gonna have one of those one day.

The one above is still available and he's lowered his price to $4500. I know it's only one example but what does this say about other new ones coming onto the secondary market? Is this a bigger drop than usual right after a new release?
