:raised:
Three words: paid product placement.

Check the full quote, straight off Omega's site:
She added, “I had also known contemporaries when I was in my twenties who were military and naval, and some who worked in field of energy and electricity, who all swore by their Omegas. Therefore, as one of the early tasks in designing the new Bond, Pierce Brosnan, I went to a props and hand props meeting and argued for the use of Omega, which I had of course first investigated to make sure they would be interested in placing their watches on Bond!

On the other hand, it looks like they now have the right model name in the press release, unlike the original version...

Can't deny that omegas new line kills almost all of Rolex's new designs.

Only the new no date sub, the blue dial YM, and... That's about it for Rolex.

Did anyone else see the 60 Minutes segment about Bond last Sunday? One interested tidbit was that companies don't pay for product placement; instead they agree to spend a lot of money marketing the movie.

I was struggling to think of a "W" synonym for "graft", "payoff", "bribe", "kickback" or "grease", so it was the best I could come up with.

You're having a period. Period.

Anyways Jason Bourne is a bigger badass. Too bad he has horrible taste in watches.

I like the new Craig movies but he is a bit too EMO cry cry and less sacastic British adventurer which is the take I preferred.
