I saw that monstrosity yesterday on TZ. Horrible doesn't even begin to describe this. And Omega and Bond weren't even in bed together until the 1990s.

I saw that on TZ earlier today. The caseback is sapphire, and the whole spiral part is the rotor. Cool, but still cheesy. I've always disliked the 007 theme watches. Just not my cuppa.

AC, I can be as big a snob as the next guy but come on .... all except the Speedy? Omega has some serious lumber in their lineup. Granted, the guy that designed the current Constellations is probably related to the guy that designed the Bond tribute lineup, but other than those I dig me some Omegas.

Wow. Where to start. I wouldn't drink the coffee in the design department. It's obviously tainted. They could have been sober when they came up with the center part for the rotor - harkens to the butt of the case of a .380 round (for the PPK). Ok, fair enough there. But the dial is a fucking mess. the 007 second hands version was really quite enough. And the whole 50 years thing is misleading, at least from Omega's viewpoint.

I do love me some PO though. And the standard 300m version is nice. Speedy is great. not like Omega doesn't have some nice shit in the lineup, but I wouldn't add this to that list.

I used to dig the Connies back in the day, but when it comes to their contemporary line up, aside from the divers and the classic Speedy Pro, they don't have anything that really appeals to me.

But you know what? Their divers and the Speedy are enough for me.

The red 50 seems odd but ill give them that one for the anniversary, its those stupid crooked 007's I cant stand.
Caseback looked stupid at first but now that I clued in it is a bullet squeezing threw the shutter I dont mind it.
