I like how U1 Pro has a done crystal. Is it from U2? The whole case or just crystal?
Where are you, Chris?

I don't like that the hands don't match with the dial though.
I prefer they match.

The U1 and U2 cases are identical. The only difference is the crystal. The Pro uses a U2 crystal, so WR is the same, even though the Pro says 1000 m.

Gotcha, wasn’t sure if U2 had something thicker like the case back or else to achieve 2000M

Nope, just the crystal.

Chris can confirm, but I believe it's the Copper Sulphate capsule.

Ahhh yes just googled it. So built in dehumidifier. So kinda like a HEV. Not really necessary but functional if needed.

I would own an EZM3f if it weren’t for this stupid unnecessary tech.
May probably still buy one if I have the chance, but I never understood why anybody would add potential failure points in exchange for no upside whatsoever.

I think the capsule is a bit silly and unnecessary. Tegimenting is the real deal, though. I'll never forget trying to squeeze a Drew canvas strap on my 857UTC (not much clearance between the lug holes and the case) and slipping multiple times with the strap changing tool. Not a single visible mark on the case. Any other watch would have surely been damaged.

Agreed!
I haven’t tried one yet, but I would 100% get a tegimented Sinn (it’s just not available on any of the models I like).

It doesn’t add a failure point and the advantage is quite clear (extra hard steel!)

HEV, anti-humidity capsules etc are a different (and sillier) story
