Yep, this is an epic NATO watch.

Do you like the single pass Zulu on other stuff just not here, or don’t like them at all?

I don’t like them at all, but I think it looks particularly bad here because the watch is too small for you.

Nice pick up Hop and thanks for the photos.

I think this is the best looking version too. Haven’t pulled the trigger on the the U50 yet so it’s good to see real photos.

Also I think it looks great on your wrist. The watch doesn’t look too small to me.

Now the single pass nato doesn’t do the watch justice. I think a nice thick rubber strap (ISO) might be a good bet.

I appreciate the honest opinion. I’m still undecided on size, but unless there is a titanium U1 coming, those are just too heavy for my comfort.

What is your wrist size? I love the thin profile but do wonder if the U1 would be better for me.

My wrist fluctuates between 7.75-8.0”

I have a smaller wrist than you, and like my U1. Would the 50 be that much better? Basically do I need to dump the U1 and pick up the 50?

I can’t say what anyone should do, but the U1 fit me great, I just didn’t like the thickness and weight. Keep in mind I wear on natos.

I think this will turn into a sales post.

The U50 SDR full tegimented case on strap is $2750 @ Watchbuys. Mine is on the unworn leather and no waiting....

Any more, I don't really care how a watch "looks" on my wrist.... if it isn't comfortable, I won't wear it. My grandfather did just fine with a 34mm watch in WWII. I think it looks fine on you. Super zoomed in wrist shots are misleading anyway.

The Sinn T2 I got here has pretty much never left my wrist since I got it and it shares much of the same dimensions.

I flipped my U1 because it wasn’t as comfortable, too. I don’t think it looks small on your wrist myself. It’s legible AF, insanely tough, and if it’s comfortable?

It’s a keeper. But we all have the sickness. Haha

What a great watch, love the idea of it being a smaller U1. The only downside for me would be the square on the end of the second hand: I think I'd find it a bit distracting, looks a bit too big for the dial. Still, very nice piece, congrats

Sinn T1 is one of the best and most comfortable watches I’ve ever worn, you need to sell the U1 Pro Hoppy if it’s too heavy....

Feels weightless compared to the U1. Edit - gonna buy the rubber strap too :)

Compared to U1:

My fully teg version finally arrived so I thought I would post a few photos with the other two smaller divers in my current rotation. Compares very similar to my 16600 although obviously thinner. My Bell & Ross is probably the most comfortable dive watch in my collection being quartz and 11.2mm thick. Pretty cool that the Sinn is only 11.3mm thick while being auto and 500m WR. I have owned various U1 versions and hated selling the Pro, but this size is the sweet spot for me.
