Oh man that’s another teaser teaser!
I’m really wanting that new Bell & Ross lume dial, but holding on until the big Sinn reveal.

Hop - just get the first one available and wear it a couple of times then sell it to me at a discount
Thanks in advance

The latest clue: Marvin Gaye & Kim Weston...Take Two? As in maybe a different take on something like the 1.1

They should at least make it more interesting, like the first person to guess right wins something. Right now I don't see the point of a guessing game.

How about “it’s takes two” being two versions of the LE - a black dial and a white (lume) dial.
The two could also be two register chrono.
I’m already getting tired of guessing.

Agreed - whenever I see these teaser things, I just ignore them. Might be fun for some folks, but generally for me, it more often inflates expectations and leads to disappointment.

The three pages of speculation here and at WUS would seem to imply that the marketing tactics are working - at least to some degree.
I personally think they're dragging it out way too long. A week of daily clues followed by the reveal would have been more than enough.

Agreed and also agreed with Matt. The build up sets everyone for the highest expectation. Wait till they reveal a green dial U1 lol

I fully expect some variant of the U1. Watch companies tend to milk a successful model until it runs dry - or longer. Just look at Tudor with it's 50 variants of the BB, Sinn with umpteen U1s already in its history. Panerai and AP have done it for years and continue to take flack for it. But Sinn/Tudor and others are guilty of the same behavior.
Aside from a few LEs that they limited to the German market, Sinn haven't released anything of interest to me in years. I think it's time for a completely new model, not just another 103, U1, 1.x with a different dial color.

Agreed. Although Sinn tries sometimes with a new chrono and 3 hander last year (forget the models)

It's a heckuva lot easier and cheaper to just tweak something that's already popular than to put the time and resources into coming up with something new. So a bazillion black bays, royal oaks, panerais, speedmasters, etc.
That said, for all you Sinn fans, I hope it's something you'll enjoy.

And that's obviously why they do it. But it makes for a boring lineup that can alienate long-term fans of the brand. Case in point - I skipped the Watchbuys show for the first time in many years. I just didn't see the point in looking at the same watches that I've seen a million times before.

i come back occasionally and see if there are new posts in this thread with real news. but the "cute" factor of the guessing game ended a while ago. string it out for a day or two? sure. weeks? eff off, let me know when you're done, i don't really care about hints any more.
