Shades of (U1) Blue

Post by andy tims » Mon Apr 13, 2020 3:52 am

Finally got a chance for some "proper" pics of the U1 B I've had since mid Jan

As you can see the lovely dial really does change colour depending on the way the light hits it.

I bought the watch with the bracelet, but it just looks so good on the rubber, I've not even considered fitting the bracelet.

If I didn’t just pick up the pro, I would have a u1 blue.

On 4/29 Sinn is announcing their new watches for 2020. Wonder if we'll see a 40-42mm U-series watch.

Looks great on the blue rubber. I could never get that rubber strap to be comfortable- either to tight or to loose.

I wonder how the new true blue isofrane would look.

I’d go with the new dark grey, instead. There is nothing worse (well, probably a few things) than trying to match the color of a strap to a dial and missing.

In case the blue doesn't match, grey does look good with blue.

Some guys need to get themselves a color wheel. I’ve seen some crazy shit on some of the forums(Danny).

It looks like both T1B and T2B models have been discontinued. The only matte blue dial on the Sinn website is the U1. I wonder if the blue hasn't been popular.

I had that one and the only reason I flipped it was for a trade for the T2. The dial is a blue/gray and wears nicely on so many kinds of straps.

Loved it.

Fantastic shots, Andy! I've had a U212 and a UX, but never a U1. Since I missed out on the Professional, I've been eyeing the U1B. Definitely on my shortlist.
