Sinn CH124 Sea King
Sinn CH124 Sea King
As you all aware this one came out last year Oct 2018. I am glad to own one for her wearable size and clean dial of 556. The only shortfall is her out of place date window. I was being told 40 pcs went to the crews. She is a keeper with U1 professional which i think they all did a great job!!

That definitely should have been a no-date. It’s very cool otherwise.

I’d prefer that date window over the iwc date on the middle of the dial treatment.

Saw this and really like it - congratulations!
Re: Sinn CH124 Sea King
Capt Miller saw my post and in his reply on the date window,
"I did contemplate the removal of the date window, but ultimately went back to the idea of function over form. The Sea King was not a “beautiful” aircraft in the traditional sense of the word. Instead, the affection it garnered was due to its function, utility, and durability. Removing the date would have meant removing function from a watch that is meant to embody the Sea King. It just felt wrong. That’s why it is still there. Would the watch have looked better without it? Yes. Would it have been a sacrifice in terms of function? Yes. Hard to have it both ways with this watch."
Now, i feel better with the "not so beautiful" date window.
Thanks Capt!

After having the regular 556a for about two weeks now, I’m kicking myself for not jumping on one of these that popped up on recon not too long ago. Such a great size and I really like the colors on this one.
