So do these attachments connect to the clasp or the lugs of the watch. I’m having a blonde moment looking at this trying to figure out WTF is going on.

It looks like the attachments allow you to take the case end of the strap off without undoing a spring bar. The strap curls around them.

You’ve got a point. Endlinks look like they have a lifting tab.
