But... what about micro-adjustments?! :)

People clamoring for a buckle with a ratchet (a la Rolex, Omega, Seiko and a bunch of micro brand's divers) and Sinn creates that contraption, which after reading a couple of articles I still don't understand how it works #facepalm

Very convoluted system. Should have just done what Breitling did with their rubber strap system.

I've been praying for a well designed Sinn adjustable clasp to allow micro adjustments for the U1P and 1.1 on bracelet. Guess I'll keep on praying

No kidding. They ignore all the clasp requests and give us this. How do you say goofball in German?

Yeah... definitely A solution, but probably not the one they should have gone with. Sometimes innovation for the sake of being different isn't actually good.

Thanks for posting this... still not a great solution in my opinion. You can buy a ratchet buckle from strapcode for $65... not sure if it will fit the Sinn rubber strap, but I bought one to try on one of my Seikos.

I met a Sinn representative at the NYC WatchBuys Road Show and told him an adjustable clasp is long overdue.

He said something is in the works.

Disappointing if this is it.

Do those endlinks do something special?

Yes, they make the watches uglier.

It's like they looked at that terrible Tudor and thought "hey let's add some ugly ass end links to our watch too!" :banghead:

The clasp has micro adjustments, and is slightly smaller than the standard clasp. No need to use the end links and special straps.

Will the clasp work with the bracelet?

Yeap. Just going with everyone else on that one. It is definitely ugly.

The adjustable clasp is in stock at WatchBuys. Unfortunately, you’ll probably need new rubber for it, as it is shorter than the current clasp.
Tegimented and black buckles will be available soon.

Hahaha
But this level of over engineering is a perfect German solution.

This quick adjustment solution requires removing the strap from the watch. That defeats the “quick adjustment” purpose.

Yeah that’s weird. Maybe they are over explaining it or something. I’m sure soon we will see a video on how it works.

I love that the 015 tuna came out with a cheap but functional ratcheting clasp like 10 years ago.
