Arktis is a winner. But way too big for me.

The case should wear the same as the EZM 1.1 (although I am told the cases are not identical), which wears really well. Don’t write it off without trying it.

The Arktis is nice but I can't help but feel that Sinn pricing is out of control. The watch is pushing $4K. Wasn't the original Arktis about $2500? That blue Frankfurt chronograph is $4400 on a leather strap

Back in the day IIRC was $1300
Agrees that's IWC and Others category

I agree. It’s a great design.

I know there was one Arktis titanium for sale here from Ben few years back. Heads me up if the owner is one of us here.

when I go back to pics of my Arktis...... and remember why I sold it -- I get the urge to shove an ice pick through my ear

1.1 actually worked ok for me. This one is even thicker, though. I’d hit it.

That green dial is nice, too

Yes. I would love to have it back but I searched and searched and nothing.

I want to be excited about the new arktis but I think it’s going to be way too big for what it is. The ezm 1.1 worked with a big case because of the big open dial. I’m not saying the arktis will look bad, but if I had one I would wish it was the OG size.
And the prices... long gone are days when Sinn was a bang for your buck watch. I can say that I’ll never buy a new Sinn at these prices and if I ever do buy it will certainly be used.

So I am not a Sinn guy but the current offerings are looking hot I must say.

New 43mm Artkis is sexy, but I’d buy a Speedy for that money. I was hoping for an adjustable clasp this year, but they leave us wanting.
Nothing this year that will get my money.

I'm on vacation and saw that email, and I am in on the new Arktis. I missed out on the previous one, and I will not miss out on this one.

The Arktis is expensive, but damn it is hot. And compared to the Rolex and Tudor offerings this year, looks even better.

I love the Arktis. I just can’t justify it with the blue 103 and EZM 1.1 already in the box.

I’ve heard nothing from them about ever changing that..

I thought they were working on an adjustable clasp?
