Don't Tell Anyone - This May Be A Secret

I forgot to mention in the Road Show thread that I found out Sinn is working on an adjustable clasp for their bracelets.

Good news and long overdue.

Now I’ll need another 1.1 :-(

It will be

Only reason I’ve flipped so many U1’s is because although I love it on the bracelet, all that weight needed a fine adjustment on the clasp..

don't see why they weren't drilling 4 or 5 holes instead of 3 in the clasp all along?

I'd probably wear my U1P on bracelet 10x as much if it had an adjustable clasp. I've worn my 1.1 bracelet for exactly one day (was an incredible pain to remove, needed better flanges on the spring bars - gotta try it again in any case), but with and adjustable clasp that would likely be at least 50% of the time.

I think you may have my old U1P? #25?

Anyway- this is a great move for Sinn. I’ve had issues with wearing bracelets with the changing weather and humidity in Ohio.

I will def have a U1P someday.

In the meantime, get some Pachmayr pistol grip material. You can cut a small piece to adhere to the caseback. It helps when a strap or bracelet is a touch too big.

I do indeed have good old #25  Still as great as the day I got it. Same here, I can go out and walk the dog and need a 2mm bracelet expansion by the time I get back. Hope this really happens, would be a game changer for the Sinn experience.

This might bring me to buy the factory rubber strap. I think it looks great, but with the cutting and no micro adjust it was a deal breaker.

I have one I’m not using and our wrists are about the same size if you want it brother - lmk

If you don’t like it you can give it back or if you do just wear the heck out of it

^ Thanks a lot Paul I will shoot you a text. I’d like to buy it from you

The U1 is a tricky watch with it being so top heavy, that and the thick domed case back make it ride high on the wrist. I notice it especially now since it’s getting colder and my wrist tends to shrink a little leaving bracelets feel loose.

Even the relatively inexpensive strapcode adjustable clasps work great, nice not to have to take the watch off to adjust like glidelock or the omega, etc. Obviously not build as nice and doesn’t look as good though.
