Japanese LE U1000 and U1
I was happy to hear the U1000 wasn’t gone for good...

Leiji Matsumoto Model for the 80th anniversary of his birth
U1.S.E MOTHER EARTH & U1000.S MOTHER EARTH
Limited 80 pieces each
Two diving watch models produced by Sinn Spezialuhren have been launched to commemorate the 80th anniversary of birth of Leiji Matsumoto, a well-known Japanese creator of anime and manga (such as Cosmoship Yamato).
The Sinn official store “KAMASHIMA” in Utsunomiya, Japan collaborated with Sinn in this project, and developed two limited editions : “U1.S.E MOTHER EARTH” & “U1000.S MOTHER EARTH”. Mr. Matsumoto created a new illustration with the title “Earth I want to see from space someday” for this project, which is printed on the dial. He translated the original artwork of Sinn diving watches, and carefully created the illustration to preserve the visibility.
Both U1.S.E MOTHER EARTH & U1000.S MOTHER EARTH are high spec diving watches pressure-resistant to 1000 m diving depth (100 bar), with Mr. Matsumoto’s signature at 4 o‘clock, also the limitation number and “skull and crossbones“, the trademark of Mr. Matsumoto, engraved on the case back.
The anniversary models, limited 80 pieces each, are available now exclusively at “Watch & Jewelry KAMASHIMA” in Utsunomiya, Tochigi Prefecture, Japan.

That’s really nice. Not my style. Still nice.
It's a beautiful world! Gerald.

Can’t figure out the $1000’s dollar watches with dials that look like a ten year old‘s watch choice.

Not my bag, but at 80 pcs each they obviously aren't going for wide appeal. Maybe there's a big enough market in Japan to sell them out
