Sinn Catalog - no love for North America?

Post by rockmastermike » Wed Oct 13, 2010 10:42 am

Went to Sinn.de to look (drool) around and signed up for a 2010/2011 catalogue. The next day I get an email from our friends at watchbuy asking me to view the catalog on the site.

I am old and like the tactile feel of thumbing through a good old fashioned physical catalog in my hands. Looks great online but would look better in my hands. Why no appetite for just putting one in the mail?

Ahhh, it's a brave new world my friend. Everything is electronic, and therefore cheaper for the seller. ;)

Watchbuys is also the "only AD in town" when it comes to Sinn in North America. Sorry.

Just fall in line and give them your credit card number like everyone else. J/K

I've never seen a Sinn print catalog. Omega, yup. Breitling, yup. Sinn, no.

So...anyone else? Have you seen a print catalog...in NORTH AMERICA.

thanks DJ - it is as I thought and you stated - about technology and the bottom line. Not a deal breaker by any means as I will fall in line soon enough, lol.

I have a Sinn catalog (it's actually a very nice hardcover book), but it came from Germany. I got it with the strap I bought from the WUS Sinn mod in Germany.

I tried registering for the catalog a few weeks ago, and the Sinn site asked for a customer number. I also enjoy the tactile feels of a book, but would also be happy with a PDF catalog that had ALL their watches.

I ordered a catalog from their site www.sinn.de last year and it came quite quickly. Nice hard cover book and no customer number or anything. Maybe they don't send to USA?

yeah, that's where I started, too...but got handed off to watchbuys and the "modern" .pdf thing. Perhaps is just a sign of the times and Sinn has since stopped the "real" catalogs

not a big deal, just more of a curious question. Sinn still rocks my world

Sinn has two version of their catalog, German (nice, thick and with plenty of info) and English (thin, covers most of the watches and their specs) If you are in US and ask Sinn.de for catalog, they will send you to watchbuys. It happened to me in the past. The only way for me to get printed copies was to visit Sinn factory in Frankfurt.
There are only two kinds of people in the world, the ones that own Sinn U1, U1W, U2, UX, U212 and U-Unlimited, and ones that don’t.

I used to get printed catalogs back in the early 2000's, but not any longer.

I have a nice, bound print Sinn cat... but it's years old at this point. Probably going to have to buy one from an Aussie on bay, or something now...

I have a Sinn catalog.

CMS Sgt Bo on WUS sent me one when I ordered a strap from him about a year ago.
