I can’t help but think of how much better this would have been with EZM 1.1 hands.

The 836 and 936 certainly aren’t groundbreaking, but they are entirely new watches. They don’t do that very often.
The 836 looks like an up-sized 556 without crown guards. Maybe a new watch for Sinn, but a variation on the 556 IMHO.
well, plus date and some minor hand variations (somewhere btwn the original and the LE hands). but yes, a derivative.

Nothing grabbing me. Blue 103 is OK, but a bit pricey. Nothing like the U1P or EZM1.1 from last year (and yes, I know the 1.1 wasn't announced at Basel).

Welp, my money is going elsewhere for this round.

The blue 856 is for North America and Japan only. You’ll have to put some effort into getting one.

I’ve been a fan of the 556, but it’s just too small for my tastes. At 43mm & 10.6mm thin, the 836 will be perfectImage

I would sell it and put the money down on the 836.
It’s a winner on many levels IMOImage

It’s the best of the 2018 bunch, but I really think EZM 1.1 hands would have worked better. Or fatten up those hands they used at least.

While it technically doesn’t matter, I don’t understand why the other models using this style of case can manage 200m and these are only 100m.

Lack of crown guards made it loose 100m Image

It could have been the case back. I agree about the hands. They’re a little dainty.

That was something I also thought about the EZM3F. They got it right on the EZM2.

That does look nice. I bet it looks enormous on the wrist.

43mm will be perfect for me and at 10.6mm thin, I bet it’ll be ridiculously comfortable on the wrist too!

I’ll be putting a deposit down in a few weeks for the strap version & silicon/large claspImage Hopefully I’ll have it by mid summerImage

I think you’ll be surprised. Where the 9 is 44mm, you have that awesome bezel. This new one is 43mm but all dial. It’ll be comfortable, but wear like a dinner plate.

That’s what I meant. The rubber strap makes them appear much larger on the wrist, too. I’d put this on a nice canvas strap.
