That U1 dune model has poor legibility and I'm puzzled why it was selected. Chris' model is far better.

I'm shocked they didn't choose the Bape.

I'm guessing the U1P is too subtle of an LE for readers of Worn & Wound. They need things that also look like an LE.

Tachy and U2c are hot, as well as the 356 Isetan.

U1P should have been the chosen U1... I actually prefer the white dial/black case U1 before the Dune.

Herbert Mayer 103 should be in that list, completely agree.

We all have different opinions. The U1 dune is cool but the U1 Pro was great looking

The U1P is amazing. I like the Dune, but it's not in the same league IMO.

1- Herbert Mayer 103
This is everything I love about the 103 And nothing I don’t.
Faux lume and plexi. Hmmm. Convince me.
Non screw down pushers. Check.
Date w no day. Check.
Took “automatik” off the dial. Check.
Red tipped Chrono hands. Check.
Awesome sword type hands that are better than syringe. Yep.

2- U1P
Made the already bad ass U1 even better. I never fell for the U1 because I didn’t care for the red and white color scheme. Shorty improved beyond what I thought was possible.


3- EZM 1.1
The OG EZM 1 blown up and improved. King Sinn.
The only way to make this watch perfect was to make it out of Teg Ti.


4- Arktis Ti
The Arktis was a regular production but Ti version was limited. The blue dial goes perfectly with the bead blasted case.


Not many of these were made, so you can find an SS version and bead blast it.


5- 103 white
Beautiful dial and works great with the 103 dial layout. I wish this was regular production.

I just picked this 103 LE up this week, and I may be in the honeymoon phase... but I was truly amazed when I opened it up. Finish is so much nicer than I expected.

Not just saying it for you Chris, but the U1P is truly the best version of the U1 ever produced. No exceptions. I agree with Wu’s statement on the W&W crowd.

I’m not mad they didn’t pick the Pro, I’m just mad they chose that turd instead.
At least it wasn’t the yellow Roberto.

That BAPE watch looks terrible! But if anyone wants one for their collection, there is a used one for sale on Rakuten for $7000 off retail.

My favorites: U2c, U1p and the Herbert Mayer 103 (I agree with all your comments on what makes this version really great).
