Introducing the Sinn EZM 1.1 Limited Edition

Very true- def feels like a little burger on the wrist, thought that the first time I wore it. I loved the way it felt though, and with a bracelet it took away most of that thick and chunky feeling.
I hope this has a big dome crystal and that's added in the height.

Original EZM1 specs:

Dimensions and Weight
Case diameter: 40 mm
Band lug width: 20 mm
Case thickness: 16 mm
Weight without strap: 61 gramme

I think it was 15.5mm but it has a domed crystal and sloping bezel so that mid case wasn't too crazy.
Jura posted this pic of the EZM1.1 which is pretty compelling. Looks like a lot of the height is still in the dome.

They completely missed their mark. Upsized ss case, inferior movement and absurd price. I don't think this will have any impact on current EZM1 prices.

Hey, I specifically said I know it's not really that big, but it's bigger than what I wear now, that's all.

It does. It looks like a very faithful update. Some of the other brands could learn a thing from this release. Omega in particular.

That's a lotta cheddar for a Sinn, but shit, this is real good. Just about Pelagos territory with that size.

The original ezm1 was relatively small, and sat high with the thickness.

When the last EZM1 Les went up for sale, they went quick and were around 3.5-3.7K if I remember.

The tegmented case is an improvement over the ti, and gives the watch some weight.

I am glad for the new size and lug thickness (22mm). And that domed crystal looks nice (and some of the thickness from that).

In the end, I have been waiting for this ---- I am surprised it took so long for sinn to do this.

The U1000 was 44x18 + weighed more 135g v 105g and still (subjectively) wore great on the bracelet.

I bet this one on the bracelet would be easy to wear, too except for extra $400

I picked the wrong time to be "in transition" - I reeeealllly want one of these

I agree with this. This is a re-release done well. Definitely updates to make it modern (size, material, movement, hand style, lume).

Unfortunately, price also. :)

The price directly from Sinn is €4,850. Go get one.

I don't get the economics . 500 pieces which they will surely sell. But what if this was not a limited edition and it was $3500 they couldn't make these fast enough and it would become a flagship iconic piece that would never not sell . It would be like the Toyota Camry or Ford F150 of the Sinn lineup....
I don't know, their best selling model of all time is supposedly the 104, which happens to be the cheapest watch they sell with a bezel. I don't think non LE $3500 Sinn's fly off the shelves, but I could be wrong.

Damn. I really like this. Love the 22mm lugs and the 43mm size. I believe it stretches it out nicely. I would love to grab one, but with that price it's just not gonna happen.

Would love to get one but don't love the price especially with no bracelet. I might have been tempted had they included a metal bracelet. I wonder what the used prices will be like in a couple of years.

The last time that EZM1 Les went up for sale, albeit a complete re-issue of the original, they lasted minutes. And only 250 Worldwide.

Price (w/o bracelet) and size kill it for me. Mostly price.

I like how this 1.1 has a captive bezel, like LE version of the EZM1.

If I could afford one I probably would try it.

Would if I could. 43x16 is not bad. Would be a rubber strap watch for me.
