U1000 being Retired?

Apperantly so according to a thread on WUS and the boys at Watchbuys.

I reeeeeaaaaaly miss mine and would love to own another one day.

The U1000 and U200 are both officially retired. No more pieces will be built, but you may still find some at dealers. Last I checked, WatchBuys only had a few left.

Always liked the look but seemed like they would be uncomfortable to wear all day. I think I tried one at a gtg but don't they ride tall?

Too bad, I always assumed they were too giant/tall for me but they sure seem like a high quality beast of a diver.

Not at all. It is one of the most well balanced watches I've ever worn on a bracelet. I don't think it is much taller than my Planet Ocean,and not much (if at all) heavier.

It's 44x18mm u1 is 14.3 and u2 is 15.4

Edit: I'm guessing u1Pro is like U2?

agreed - mine was supremely comfortable and balanced. amazingly so for the size - it wore more comfortable than my 8500 or MM300 :shock:
