The Dive Watch Connection

I'm sure you all know I've been working on a U1 LE with WatchBuys for what feels like an eternity. In reality it has been about two years. Sinn will announce their new BaselWorld releases this Wednesday, and one of those watches will be the Sinn U1 Professional.

Our goal for this new Sinn U1 Professional was to create a U1 worthy of the name Professional, while at the same time simplifying the design for outstanding legibility (in fact many design elements from the original Sinn EZM 1 served as an inspiration for this watch.)
We also took feedback from other forum members and WatchBuys customers to create this watch.

I can’t post the full picture until Wednesday, but for now here’s a preview showing one of the most requested features on the U1 which is part of this watch. Take a good look at the picture and you will see this feature.

This watch will be a limited edition of 100 pieces for North America and you will be able to select your specific serial number.

Rob, please don't shit on my thread. This was an enjoyable experience for me, so don't try to ruin it.

What sucks is- if it's hot, which taking design from the ezm1 it may be- there is only 100! That blows. Will be super hard to get.

I'm not super familiar with the U1. Does it have the U2 crystal?

Was thinking very hard about the white version if I can find one. Looking forward to seeing what this is like.

Miss my U1 more than any other watch

My guesses are: dome, white numbers and if the bezel is at zero, the crown is at 10 o'clock

Dome crystal is a huge improvement. Can't wait to see it!

U1 has flat crystal, U2 domed.

This U1 Pro has domed.

The photo shows no red, 10 o'clock crown, plus SDR bezel. Case has the darker tegimented color. All win.

No funky argon or copper sulfate capsule to mess with. Wear it and don't worry.

Wow crystal is a nice addition and love the add bezel and seeks like a more monochromatic dial without red ascents too, à la Pelagos. Love it. Makes me want a new U1.

I loved the domed crystal on the U2 when I had it. Never did pull the trigger on a U1 but this looks to be the best of both worlds and even more of its own. Congrats, Chris! Can't wait to see the full reveal!
