Sinn U1 Professional
Re: Sinn U1 Professional
Man this looks spectacular.
Re: Sinn U1 Professional
Anybody have any ideas on ship dates for future batches? I believe the web site said it will take all summer to complete orders?
Re: Sinn U1 Professional
Only Sinn knows for sure. I'll post here as soon as I hear anything.dnslater wrote:Anybody have any ideas on ship dates for future batches? I believe the web site said it will take all summer to complete orders?
The good news is all the cases and dials are finished. Those are the two things that cause delays, so this should go smoothly.

Re: Sinn U1 Professional
WTF is he wearing? Looks like he is HALO jumping in a dry suit.
Heck, I have a wet suit hanging in my shower right now. Send me your Sinn and I'll happily suit up for a photo.
Chris, that is a great looking watch.

Mine is also on the way. I added the tegimented bracelet to my cart and by the time I got to the end of the order the bracelet was sold out. I called and they told me I missed the last one by a minute. They're shipping it with no strap and they'll ship the bracelet when more arrive.

Interesting that the Sinn shipment doesn't restock their bracelets since they fit a wide range of watches. I suppose being a relatively small batch fabricator they can only produce so many per batch. The company who does their Kolsterising (Bodycote) is probably also a bottleneck since it is not in house.
Watch looks great on a NATO or strap, so you can enjoy it that way for awhile.
Re: Sinn U1 Professional
Mine (#14) is already paid for and was supposed to arrive last week, but nothing yet. I preemptively added the bracelet and the tang rubber as well. Hopefully I get the call on Wednesday when this shipment arrives. Fingers crossed.
EDIT: NM, they just called. I'll have it this week

Re: Sinn U1 Professional
They said that out of all the orders only 10 people wrote in the notes that they wanted it on bracelet so they only ordered 10. Instead everyone has changed to the bracelet. They wrote 20 day backlog but think it should come in sooner.dnslater wrote: ↑Mon May 15, 2017 12:47 pmI beat you.pbj204 wrote: ↑Mon May 15, 2017 12:37 pmMine is also on the way. Re: Sinn U1 Professional
#19 inbound as well, bracelet included
Re: Sinn U1 Professional
I ordered late, on 4/26. I did ask them before picking a number if they had any insight into what was shipping the soonest. They only knew of 2 numbers that would be in this batch so I selected one. They're just done randomly but somehow they got info on a couple.
