It's exciting to see this 3/4 sold out with virtually no press.

I hope Sinn will fast-track future Watchbuys special editions after this proves there is a market.

Rob was receptive to my EZM3/1 hybrid, but it's on a list with a handful of others.

Rob really liked your idea. We've discussed doing more LEs in the future. Sinn has to be on board, though. They won't let you produce whatever you like. Somehow, the Bape got produced anyway.

We had a nice chat. He followed up with an email last night. It's all good and I'm hopeful Sinn will see the potential.

I answered your PM about the ZULU but I do t know if it got to you because sucking is the only thing Tapatalk does well: I think it's a MARATAC ZULU. I looked at Maratac's last night and that is the closest to the one I have, so pretty certain it's the one.

It's only an idea at this point. There are other ideas in the pipeline too, so don't expect anything to happen quickly if at all. If/when it does I'm sure I'll be sworn to secrecy, but my desired concept is this:

- EZM 3 base watch
- EZM 3F dial design
- Red dial printing (as done on U1 Pro)
- Red date wheel (or no-date)
- Domed sapphire EZM 1 crystal
- Possibly Tegimented
- Possibly Titanium

Basically a 3-hand EZM watch (40 mm case) with the look of the legendary EZM 1.

I think there are many folks who would appreciate the look and functionality of a new model, at a lower cost than a used EZM 1.

I'm not a fan of black lume because it's just not functional. Contrast is king.

Functional? A G-Shock is functional. This is the coolest U2 on the planet.
We have a U1 Pro, here's my vote for a U2 Pro.

Much rather have what you said in Ti- but make it a 60min Chrono. So basically a new design EZM1b

I just put my deposit down on #21.

Wasn't planning on a major purchase, but can't get the design of this out of my head and I always regretted selling my U1. This version certainly improves on the modern German aesthetic in every way.

#75 will be mine! Missed my old U1 SDR, and this one is so much nicer. Something's going to have to go out, although not sure what that will be.

You could always start "dancing" again.

She always said she was a dancer,
She worked at fifteen clubs a day

Been absent for some time on this forum. However I have missed my U1 and decided I wanted another. I now have number 96 on order.

Only 23 left as of this morning. Not bad with only word-of-mouth advertising on the forums.

I agree, but also a few of the big watch journalism sites and podcasts also mentioned the model in their Basel coverage. I'm sure it didn't hurt.
