Have you tried a U1? Honestly it doesn't wear very large, especially on a strap like an Isofrane.

Easiest wearing 44mm watch ever.
Re: Sinn U1 Professional
Agreed. Barely any difference on the wrist over a Sub-C.

Here's a shot of the domed crystal with the Warriors game on in the back.

Re: Sinn U1 Professional
matt.wu, what type/brand of strap is the time piece on?
Re: Sinn U1 Professional
This one is a grey Drew canvas. 22mm lugs tapering to 20mm at the buckle. Historically, it's been my favorite strap on Sinn divers.

That looks great, Matt. I actually have the same strap.

Nice looking straps.....thanks for the info!
Re: Sinn U1 Professional
I may need to just do this soon. I'm gonna delve into the details tomorrow to understand better the difference between these and the normal u1. I really like the look of this one. Bracelet would be mandatory for me

I'd be curious to know the overall plan too; if they are doing 10 per month or if the goal is to deliver them all by a certain time period.CGSshorty wrote:I'll try to find out. What is your #? 11?nweash wrote:When's the next batch due? Any idears?
Re: Sinn U1 Professional
Also curious. Do you know if they being delivered in the order the deposits were taken or by serial number? i.e 1-10 and then 10-20, etc.

WatchBuys is doing their best to deliver them in the order they were paid for. Obviously, they are only able to deliver what Sinn sends them.Chocodove wrote:Also curious. Do you know if they being delivered in the order the deposits were taken or by serial number? i.e 1-10 and then 10-20, etc.
There shouldn't be any delays in delivering the rest, but Sinn has to fit them in to their production schedule along with all the other new watches.

Re: Sinn U1 Professional
Just reserved mine (#76). I was on the fence due to the lack of date but seeing the live pics put me over the edge - thanks Wu and Shorty. I've always had a special draw to the U1 (I think I've owned 5 or 6, plus a few U2) and the DWC connection is pretty special. Looking forward to this one.
Re: Sinn U1 Professional
Damn. Feel like I need to figure out how to make one happen.
Re: Sinn U1 Professional
Sinn is releasing them in batches of 10. If you reserve now you'd have a while to pay for it.dukerules wrote:Damn. Feel like I need to figure out how to make one happen.

As in maybe 10 per month? That would give a guy six months or so to prepare.
Re: Sinn U1 Professional
I don't have a timeframe. The good news is all cases and dials are done and ready to be assembled.hoppyjr wrote:CGSshorty wrote:Sinn is releasing them in batches of 10. If you reserve now you'd have a while to pay for it.dukerules wrote:Damn. Feel like I need to figure out how to make one happen.

The more I view this thread the more it's making me figure out how many watches I'd have to sell to buy this, and stay married. I especially love the look on the fitted rubber strap.

You can always marry again.
